Shadow Blocks ("the app", "we") is a block puzzle game made by an independent developer. This page explains what happens to your information when you play it, in plain language.
There is no sign-up and no login. Shadow Blocks never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or access to your camera or microphone. We don't run a server that receives your gameplay.
Your progress (solved levels, stars, hints, purchases you've unlocked) and your settings (sound, music, vibration, language) are saved only on your device, in the app's own storage. We never receive a copy. Uninstalling the app, or using "Reset progress" in Settings, removes it.
The free version shows banner, interstitial and optional rewarded video ads (for example, to earn free hints) through Google AdMob. To serve, cap and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:
You can learn how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Tracking choice on iOS: on iOS 14.5 and later the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before the advertising identifier is used. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized using that identifier. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Buying the Full Version turns off all ads.
The Full Version is sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see or store your payment details. The app only learns whether a purchase succeeded, so it can unlock what you bought.
Shadow Blocks does not include its own analytics or crash-reporting software. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first and will say exactly what was added and what it collects.
Shadow Blocks is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change too, and any change that affects what data is collected will be described plainly.
