Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Duck Gacha is a single-player game made by independent developer Oly, available on the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). This policy explains what information the game handles when you play, make an optional in-app purchase, use the optional daily reminder, or choose to watch a rewarded ad.

In short: You do not need an account to play. Your game save stays on your device and is not uploaded to our server. The game sends a random device identifier, your country code, and the details of in-app purchases to a small service we run for purchase records. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and RevenueCat. Optional rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob.

1. Information stored on your device

The game saves information needed to provide and restore your progress on this device. This includes your ducks and collection, level progress and rewards, in-game currencies and passes, park layout, settings, language choice, and whether you turned on the daily reminder. The local save also keeps the product and transaction identifiers needed to recognize purchases already applied to your game.

The game does not ask you to create an account or provide your name or email. Your progress does not sync between devices. Local game data remains on the device until you delete the app or its data. Device backups are controlled by Apple or Google and your device settings.

2. Information sent to our service

When the game starts for the first time on a device, it creates a random device identifier and sends it, together with your country code (taken from your device's region setting), to our purchase-records service. The service returns a private identifier that groups your records. We use these to register the installation and to keep purchase records. We do not receive your name, email address, or contacts.

The daily reminder is scheduled on your device by the system's notifications (iOS or Android). Its timing and text are not sent to us.

3. In-app purchases

Purchases are offered through Apple's StoreKit and the App Store on iPhone, and through Google Play Billing on Android. The catalog includes optional duck and pass packs; it does not include an auto-renewing subscription. Apple or Google handles checkout, payment authorization, and billing. We do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or Apple Account or Google Account password.

Purchases are processed with RevenueCat, a service that manages in-app purchases for apps. When a purchase is made, the game sends the following details to our purchase-records service: the product purchased, the store and transaction identifiers, the price and currency, the item tier, and the random device identifier described above. The game uses the purchase details on your device to deliver the purchased items once and to prevent the same transaction from being credited twice.

Apple or Google controls your payment records and its own retention practices. Eligible purchases can be restored through the store's flow in the game. Consumable items that have already been used may not be recoverable through restore. For questions about a charge or refund, use Apple's billing and subscriptions support or Google Play's refund help.

More information about Apple's handling of App Store information is available in Apple's App Store privacy notice, and about Google's in Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Optional rewarded ads

Duck Gacha uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to offer optional rewarded ads. An ad is shown only after you choose an ad-supported reward in the game. The game does not use banner ads or automatic interstitial ads.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as your IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), device or advertising identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. The specific information and purposes can depend on your device, region, consent choices, and Google's ad-serving settings. Google may use this information to deliver, measure, and improve ads and help prevent fraud.

The game uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and apply ad consent where required. Depending on your region and the consent flow, you may be offered personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. On iOS, if an App Tracking Transparency request is presented, your choice controls whether the advertising identifier may be used for tracking across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this later in iOS Settings. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising ID in the device's Google or privacy settings. Declining tracking or deleting the advertising ID does not necessarily disable all ads.

See Google's Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy for more about Google's processing.

5. Information we do not request

The game does not require your name, email address, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location to play. We do not sell personal information and we do not run analytics or crash-reporting services in the game. If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and message you choose to send so we can reply.

6. Children's privacy

The game does not require a player to submit identity or contact details. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. The optional advertising SDK may process device and ad-related information as described above; Apple's and Google's consent and age-related settings may affect how ads are delivered. A parent or guardian with a privacy question can contact us below.

7. Data retention and your choices

Your game save is stored locally. You can remove it by deleting the app or its local data. Our purchase-records service keeps the random device identifier and purchase details described above so that purchases are recorded correctly. To ask us to delete these records, email us with your device identifier if you have it, or with the date and product of the purchase. Purchase records held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and ad-related data handled by Google are subject to those providers' own retention and privacy practices.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game or its data practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
